A delicious Italian sandwich featuring layers of fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4–6 slices Prosciutto di Parma or good quality prosciutto
- 2 crusty Italian bread rolls
- 4 slices of tomato
- 2 slices fresh mozzarella cheese (cut in half)
- handful of Arugula
- 1 medium size avocado (pit removed and mashed with a fork)
- 4 tsp mayonnaise
- 2 tsp fresh lime juice
- dash garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine and stir the avocado spread ingredients until smooth.
- Arrange the sandwich as follows: avocado sauce, mozzarella slices, tomato slices, prosciutto slices and top with arugula.
- Enjoy!

- This sandwich is best enjoyed fresh.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of garlic powder and lime juice to taste.
