Description

A delicious and easy one-skillet lasagna recipe perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or sausage
  • 9 oz no-boil lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in garlic and onion; sauté until translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Add marinara sauce and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Break lasagna noodles into pieces and layer them in the skillet.
  6. Dollop ricotta cheese on top and sprinkle mozzarella evenly.
  7. Cover the skillet and lower the heat to let simmer for 20–25 minutes until noodles are tender and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove from heat, add Parmesan, garnish with basil, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
  • For a spicier dish, add crushed red pepper flakes along with the garlic and onion.
