Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 packet taco seasoning (1 oz)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 taco shells (soft flour or crunchy corn)
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey for about 5-7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and half a cup of water; simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Fill taco shells with the turkey mixture and top with shredded cheese.
- Place filled tacos in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven, cool slightly, and garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, or other toppings.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings like sour cream or avocado!
