Description

A quick and delicious fried rice recipe.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and carrots; sauté until tender.
  3. Add peas and cooked rice; stir to combine.
  4. Push rice to one side of the skillet.
  5. Pour beaten eggs into the empty side; scramble until cooked.
  6. Mix eggs into the rice.
  7. Add soy sauce and sesame oil; stir well.
  8. Season with salt and pepper; serve hot.
