Delicious and easy-to-make churro bites using Ritz crackers, rolled in cinnamon sugar and served with your favorite dipping sauces.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sleeve (about 28) Ritz crackers
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Chocolate sauce for dipping
- Caramel sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or a perforated liner.
- Place the melted butter in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl or shallow dish, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Dip each Ritz cracker into the melted butter, letting any excess drip off.
- Immediately roll the butter-coated cracker in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated. Place on a plate.
- Arrange the coated crackers in a single layer in the prepared air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; work in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes, or until the coating is crisp and the edges are slightly golden.
- Carefully remove the bites from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes on the plate. They will crisp up further as they cool.
- Serve the churro bites warm, with chocolate or caramel sauce for dipping if desired.
