Description

Delicious chocolate almond brownies that are rich and decadent.


Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 grams butter (about 2/3 cup)
  • 120 grams dark chocolate (about 4 ounces or 3/4 cup chopped)
  • 150 grams sugar (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 60 grams flour (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 40 grams unsweetened cocoa powder (about 1/3 cup)
  • 50 grams chocolate chips (about 1/4 cup)
  • 200 grams milk chocolate (about 7 ounces or 1 cup chopped)
  • 40 grams crushed almonds (about 1/3 cup)

Instructions

  1. First, gently melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla, and sugar until nice and creamy.
  3. Fold in the chocolate mixture, then stir in the flour and cocoa until everything is combined.
  4. Sprinkle in the chocolate chips and give it one last gentle mix.
  5. Pour the batter into a 9×9 pan and bake in a preheated oven at 350F for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  6. Once it’s done, let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
  7. Finally, dip each square in melted dark chocolate mixed with crushed almonds and let them set aside until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

  • Ensure the brownies are cooled completely before cutting for clean edges.
  • Can substitute milk chocolate with more dark chocolate if desired.
