Description

Decadent chocolate brownie bites filled with caramel surprise and topped with a smooth chocolate frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup DOVE® PROMISES Caramel Milk Chocolates
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a mini muffin pan with baking spray.
  2. In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine unsalted butter and dark chocolate morsels. Microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Gently add granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs, and kosher salt to the melted chocolate mixture. Blend just until combined.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, evenly divide the brownie batter among the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
  5. Once baked, immediately press a caramel chocolate into the center of each bite and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
  6. To make the frosting, beat the softened butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and caramel sauce until smooth. Pipe or spoon onto each cooled brownie bite.
