- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened) (beat it until fluffy for the best texture)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (sift it to avoid lumps)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder (use high-quality cocoa for a rich flavor)
- 2 tablespoons milk (a splash more or less can adjust the texture)
- 1/4 cup caramel sauce (you can use homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a mini muffin pan with baking spray.
- In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine unsalted butter and dark chocolate morsels. Microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Gently add granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs, and kosher salt to the melted chocolate mixture. Blend just until combined.
- Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, evenly divide the brownie batter among the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
- Once baked, immediately press a caramel chocolate into the center of each bite and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
- To make the frosting, beat the softened butter, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and caramel sauce until smooth. Pipe or spoon onto each cooled brownie bite.

- For a richer flavor, brown sugar can be used instead of granulated sugar.
