  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened) (beat it until fluffy for the best texture)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (sift it to avoid lumps)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened dark chocolate cocoa powder (use high-quality cocoa for a rich flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons milk (a splash more or less can adjust the texture)
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (you can use homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a mini muffin pan with baking spray.
  2. In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine unsalted butter and dark chocolate morsels. Microwave for one minute, then stir. Continue heating in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Gently add granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, eggs, and kosher salt to the melted chocolate mixture. Blend just until combined.
  4. Using a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop, evenly divide the brownie batter among the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
