Description
Delicious creamy garlic chicken with a touch of heat and topped with fresh parsley.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter to the pan along with minced garlic, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Cook for 1–2 minutes until aromatic.
- Deglaze the pan with lemon juice, scraping up the brown bits. Pour in the cream and stir well. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top. Let simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top. Serve immediately.
Notes
- This chicken dish pairs well with pasta or rice to soak up the creamy sauce.
- Adjust the amount of red chili flakes based on your heat preference.
