Description

Deliciously seasoned lemon pepper chicken, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken thighs or legs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray or line with foil.
  2. In a small bowl add the lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and Italian seasoning and mix until combined.
  3. Place the chicken in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, lemon juice, and zest until coated.
  4. Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken and toss until coated. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken has reached the internal temperature of 165 degrees and juices run clear.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes and serve!
