Description
Deliciously seasoned lemon pepper chicken, baked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 2 1/2 pounds chicken thighs or legs
- 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, spray a baking sheet with non stick cooking spray or line with foil.
- In a small bowl add the lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and Italian seasoning and mix until combined.
- Place the chicken in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, lemon juice, and zest until coated.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the chicken and toss until coated. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken has reached the internal temperature of 165 degrees and juices run clear.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes and serve!
